1John 4:18-19
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. We love Him because He first loved us.
Fear is not how God wants us to live life with.... God is a GOd of love and thats the reason how faith works thru love... when we make mistakes or sin against God... our conscience start to feel guilty and condemn.... God wants us to receive His mercy and forgiveness in that situation... once we confess and repent from our sins... God expects us to move on and receive His mercy and forgiveness... and remind ourselves that we are the righteousness of God....
Romans 5:8-9
But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by HIs blood, we shall be justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.
We have been saved from wrath thru Jesus sacrifice on the cross, we are saved from wrath of God. Yet this is not a liscense to sin... because sin always have consequence... we reap what we sow...we sow into the flesh we reap corruption, however GOd doesnt want us living guilty and condemn after we have confess and repent... we need to remind ourselves we are the righteousness of GOd in Christ because of what Jesus did.
2Corinthians 5:21
For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
You are the righteousness of GOd in Christ.
2Corinthians 5:19
that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.
Your sins have been punished on the body of Jesus and there is therefore now no condemnation to you who are in Christ. However I repeat this is not a liscense to sin.
Romans 8:1
There is therefore no no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.
Romans 5:17
For if by the one man's offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.
