hope

Genesis 15:1-2
After these things the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying, "Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward." But Abram said, "Lord God, what will You give me, seeing I go childless, and the heir of my house is Eliezer of Damascus?"

Abraham was feeling fearful... the promise that he desired seem to die... God came to encourage with His presence.... do not fear... "I am your shield, your exceeding great reward..." God's presence helps us stay contended when fear and anxiety comes... God wants us to stay close to Him when we feel troubled....

Genesis 15:5-6
Then He brought him outside and said, "Look now toward heaven, and count the stars if you are able to number them." And He said to him, "So shall your descendants be." And he believed in the Lord, and He accounted it to him for righteousness.

The same God wants you to look at the promises.... God wants u to believe in the promise like how Abraham did... cos sometimes the breakthru and the desires take so long.... it is written hope deferred makes the heart sick, but when desire comes... it is the tree of life... God wants u comfot you with His presence and wants you to continue to believe in His promise and hope till the appointed time comes....
