Healing

1John 4:18
there is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.

God's love brings assurance and healing to the insecure soul.... fear is not from God... God never leads in fear... bible says that fear involves torment... today God is patient and kind to you.... He is longsuffering towards you... He is gentle to you... He is meek toward you.... He thinks no evil towards you... He is truthful toward you.... He bears all things and hopes the best for you.... His love will never fail you.... His love is perfect toward you....

1john 4:19
We love Him because He first loved us.

bondage to liberty

Romans 8:15
For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, "Abba, Father."

In Christ we come into peace with God and enter into a state of no bondage.... bondage of fear paralyze us... today the good news is you have step out of the Spirit of bondage to fear because of what Jesus has done for you... and enter in the rest of God.... For you have not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear... but the Spirit of sonship... the Spirit of Adoption.... where we can go to God and call Him "Daddy... Abba.." and He will respond for we have become His children...

Romans 5:8-9
For God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.

Peace

Psalm 31:15a
My times are in Your hands.

God knows the times and seasons of our lives.... Satan loves to throw temptation to cause us to react in fear... however GOd wants us to trust in Him.... When Jesus was tempted by the devil... He was tempted in the area of who He was... the devil tried to tempt Jesus to prove Himself and who Jesus was.... in life we will be tempted to prove our worth to others.... that is a trap by the devil... the wise thing to do is to trust and depend on the Lord.... Jesus was smart enough not to fall into the trap... of proving Himself... today God doesnt want you to react in fear or react to prove a point... God wants us to be like Jesus and trust ourselves to Him for our times are in His hands... God is always able to bring His Will for our lives at the right time... and the longer the wait... the greater the breakthru... Sarah waited so long before the breakthru came...

Galatians 4:27
"Rejoice, O barren, you who do not bear! Break forth and shout, you who are not in labor! For the desoloate has many more children than she who has a husband."

Today God wants to remind us that many more are the children of the desolate at the right time... in other words... the breakthru will be greater....

When God's grace abound

2Cor 12:9-10
And He said to me, "My grace is suffictient for you, for my strength is made perfect in weakness." Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong..

Everyone has weaknesses.... everyone has a thorn in the flesh that bugs them or cause pain or irritation... however God has an answer and He does not want us to be despair... the answer is the gospel.. the good news of what Jesus did for us that we become new creation in Christ... that we came from darkness to light... from curse to being blessed... so now in every pain or in every weakness... we can take pleasure knowing God's grace will abound and we will receive the promise in due season... God loves to choose underdogs to be with them in their weakness and His grace superabound in their weaknesses.... so I wan to encourage you that in your area of pain... area of thorn in the flesh... area of irritation... to be encouraged for in due season the promise shall be fulfilled... greater shall be your breakthrough... take pleasure for His grace is with you when you are feeling the pain... when you are weak then you are strong for He is close to you and His grace is helping you as you believe and trust in Him and enjoy the closesness with Him and his grace....

Romans 5:20
Moreover the law entered that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace abounded much more.

Journey (2)

Eccel 3:11
He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.

In our journey of faith..... after we come into grace through God.... we are then waiting patiently and eagerly for the fulfillment of the promise of God to us.... What God has done on the cross is a guarantee for that the promise of God to be fulfilled in our lives... however God has a timing for everything under heaven... that GOd is not a man that He would lie... and He promise to make all things beautiful in its time.... stay patient and stay calm... peservere in all things and keep trusting and believing in His promises for it has already been guaranteed on the cross....

Romans 5:2-5
through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoiec in hope of the glory of God. And not only that, but we also glory in tribulation, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character, and character, hope. Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

Isaiah 61:3a
To console those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty for ashes

Whatever area in your life that you feel God has not yet come true.... God is saying it has been purchased by the blood of Jesus and He has promised beauty in the area where you feel there is ashes... God wants to encourage you to keep trusting and develope the character of trust and patience... And in due season... at the right time... He makes all things beautiful in His time...

Security and meaning

Psalm 63:1-3
O God, You are my God; Early will I seek You; My soul thirsts for You; in a dry and thirsty land where there is no water. So I have looked for You in the sanctuary, to see Your power and Your glory. Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, My lips shall praise You.

Dr A.R Bernard taught us that idolatry is finding our security and meaning in something other than God Himself... It could be a person, a way of doing things, in a religious system or even in oneself..... Idolatry is finding something other than God to fill the meaning and security in one's life.... today God wants us to trust Him and put away all forms of idolatry in our life... it could be a person that you put ur trust in more than God... it could be position in a religious system... or even in yourself.... God loves you today and wants you to trust Him above all these things that has no true security and meaning...today cast your cares on Him for He cares for you... Let Him satisfy you... Let Him be your God.... He loves you and wants you to put your hope in Him.... He loves you and yearns for your fellowship... today draw near to Him and He will draw near to you...

Psalm 62:8
Trust in Him at all times you people; pour our your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us.

Journey (part 1)

Romans 5:1
Therefore having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Because of Jesus death and ressurection for us on the cross... we enter into a state of peace with GOd when we believe in Him.... Salvation is on the basis of Jesus taking all our sins on the cross and rose up on the third day....It is by grace through faith we come into salvation and peace with GOd.... However after we enter into peace with God because of Jesus... we have journey of faith...

Romans 4:12b
but who also walk in the steps of faith which our father Abraham had while still uncircumcised.

There is steps of faith or journey of faith we come into.... and in the end of the journey is the glory of God...

Romans 5:2
through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

Time to get up again

Romans 4:13
For the promise that he would be the heir of the world was not to Abraham or to his seed through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.

Because of what Jesus did on the cross we as seed of Abraham are given the promise to be the heir of the world.....

Romans 4:18-21
who, contrary to hope, in hope believed, so that he became the father of many nations, according to what was spoken, "So shall your descendants be." And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah's womb. He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthen in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promise He was able to perform.

Today want to encourage you to be like Abraham... no matter what situation yo uare in... God wants you to be stengthen in faith... Just like Abraham... and God wants you to believe in His promise for your life... the promise of God will come true for your life.... He makes all thigns beautiful in His time... Hope deferred makes the heart sick but when desire comes it is a tree of life....

His faithfulness

Psalm 138:7-8
Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me; You will stretch out Your hand against the wrath of my enemies, and Your right hand will save me. The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever; Do not forsake the works of Your hands.

Today we want to talk about God's faithfulness.... We must always reflect on it especially in times of trouble.... David said that the Lord will perfect that which concerns him.... many a time in our life we feel so lost and confuse.... yet in such moments God is saying I will perfect that which concerns you... I will revive you in the midst of trouble... I will not forsake you nor leave you.... I will make all things work for the good to you... I believe today God wants us to continue trusting in His goodness and His faithfulness that He is the same yesterday, today and forever and He keeps His Word..... He will keep His promise to you... delay is never denial... Keep hoping and trusting in His Word and promise because He is faithful...Because we serve a God who has made a covenant with us by sending His son to die for us....

Psalm 27:13
I would have lost heart, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.

Revival

Psalm 119:25
My soul clings to the dust; revive me according to Your word.

Jesus said in this world we will have tribulation but be of good cheer for He has overcome the world.... In difficult moments we need God's rhema (spoken word) and logos (written word) to sustain our soul.....

Psalm 119:23
Princes also sit and speak against me, but Your servant meditates on Your statutes.

God's word bring hope of deliverance and hope of God's goodness that gives us the hope to sustain us in any trial.... the hope that His goodness will eventually prevail brings comfort to us.

Psalm 119:49-50
Remember the word to Your servant, upon which You have caused me to hope. This is my comfort in my affliction, for Your word has given me life.

Psalm 119:67
Before I was afflicted I went astray, but not I keep Your word.

Psalm 119:71-72
It is good for me that I have been afflicted, that I may learn Your statutes. The law of Your mouth is better to me than thousand of coins of gold and silver.

Psalm 119:92
Unless Your law had been my delight, I would then have perished in my affliction.

Psalm 119:105
Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.

Psalm 119:140-141
Your word is very pure; therefore Your servant loves it. I am small and despised, yet I do not forget Your precepts

Psalm 119:143
Trouble and anguish have overtaken me, yet Your commandments are my delights.

Psalm 119:174
I long for Your salvation, O Lord, and Your law is my delight.

Include God in every situation

Matthew 6:8
"Therefore do not be like them. For Your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him."

Matthew 6:32
For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.

God knows all things... He even knows the number of hair you have on your head.... There is nothing too small that escape Him.... He loves to help you in the tiny details and little choices you make in life... Do not be afraid to pray in every situation for His Will to be done....

Phil 4:6
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God that surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

positive because of Him

Romans 8:28
And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

In life we must be posititve..... to be positive we must have a certain mindset.... this is a good mindset to have... that God makes all thigns work together for good to those who love God... so if you love God.. He wants to make all things work for your good... Even the bad things that happen to our life... God is able to make it work for our good... consider Joseph... who went through extreme injustice and unfair situation... the devil may throw all these abd things to Joseph... People may treat him unfairly... His brothers may sold him out of jeolousy... Potiphar's wife may falsely accuse him.. the butler he helped may have forgotten him... yet in all these moment.. God was always with him... and God always may all things work together for good for him... even in prison all things work together for his good... in the end God elevated Joseph at the right time after much difficulties... and He became the Prime Minister of Egypt.... I want to encourage you to be positive and trust God that He is faithful and will make all things work together for your good... as you love Him and trust Him...

Gen 50:20
"But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive."

Gratitude

Galatians 3:9
So then those who are of faith are blessed with believing Abraham.

We must always be thankful for what Jesus did for us on the cross... because of His death for our sins and resurrection we have come into a new covenant with God... A covenanat that cause us to have the blessing of God by faith in Jesus Christ....

Galatians 3:13-14
Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us ( for it is written, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree"), that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

Because of what Jesus did.... we the people of faith are blessed... those who are of faith in Jesus are blessed like believing Abraham....

Genesis 12:2-3
I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you , and I will curse him who curses you; and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.

Gen 13:2
Abram was very rich in livestock, in silver, and in gold.

Life is not so much about wealth... however in the blessing of Abraham which Jesus given us... it contains financial abundance so that we can be a blessing to others... what kindness of God we received becos of Jesus....

"So Father we thank You for what You did for us... we thank You and we trust you in every situation knowing that You know all things and have blessed us because of Jesus... we place our trust in You and thank You for Your love and kindness toward us.... in that while we are sinner... You send Jesus to die for us... that now we believe and become new creation in Christ and are blessed with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places... thank You Lord..."
