Holy Courage

Daniel 3:16-18
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego answered and said to the king, "O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter. Of that is the case, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us from your hand, O king. :But if not, let it be knowm to you, O king, that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up."

Because of their courage and trust in God.... God came into the situation and turn it around for their good.

Daniel 3:24-25
Then King Nebuchadnezzar was astonished; and he rose in haste and spoke, saying to his counsellors, "Did we not cast three men bound into the midst of the firt?" They answered and said to the king, "True, O king." "Look!" he answered, "I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire; and they are not hurt, and the form of the forth is like the Son of God."

Take time to seek God for right answers

Daniel 2:16-19
So Daniel went in and asked the king to give him time, that he might tell the king the interpretation. Then Daniel went to his house, and made the decision kown to Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, his compaions, that they might seek mercies from the God of heaven concerning this secret, so that Daniel and his companions might not perish with the rest of the wise men of Babylon. Then the secret was revealed to Daniel in a night vision. So Daniel blessed the God of heaven.

God loves to reveal to us His Will... we must take time liek Daniel to seek God concerning the Will of God and the wisdom of God in every situation... For God loves to reveal His ways and His will to us...

Daniel 2:28
But there is a God in heaven who reveals secrets, and he has made known to King Nebuchadnezzar what will be in the latter days. Your dream, and the visions of your head upon your bed were these.

Daniel 2:47-49
The king answered Daniel, and said, "Truly your God is the GOd of gods, the Lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets, since you could reveal this secret." Then the king promoted Daniel and gave him many great gifts; and he made him ruler over the whole province of Babylon, and chief administrator over all the wise men of Babylon. Also Daniel petitioned the king, and he set Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego over the affairs of the province of Babylon; but Daniel sat in the gate of the king.

Prisoner of hope

Psalm 27:14
The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked came against me to eat up my flesh, my enemies and foes, they stumble and fell. Though an army should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; though war should rise against me, in this I will be confident. One thing I have desired of the Lord, that will I seek; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in His temple. For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; in the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock. And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me; therefore I will offer sacrifices of joy in His tabernacle; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the Lord. Hear, O Lord, when I cry with my voice! Have mercy also upon me, and answer me. When You said, "Seek My face." My heart said to You, "Your face, Lord, I will seek." Do not hide Your face from me; do not turn Your servant away in anger, You have been my help; do not leave me nor forsake me, O God of my salvation. When my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord will take care of me. Teach me Your way, O Lord, and lead me in a smooth path, because of my enemies. Do not deliver me to the will of my adversaries, for false witnesses have risen against me, and such as breathe out violence. I would have lost heart, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait on the Lord; be of strong courage, and He shall stengthen your heart; wait, I say, on the Lord!

ps: Do not lose heart... He is faithful to you... seek Him and wait for His leading... He loves you...

Fear not

Psalm 94:17-18
Unless the Lord had been my help, my soul would soon have settled in silence, if I say, "My foot slips," Your mercy, O Lord, will hold me up. In the multitude of my anxieties within me, Your comforts delight my soul.

There are seasons or situation where we feel afraid and confuse... But God is always with us... God's mercy is always there to hold us up... in the multitude of pressure and confusion... we can run to the Lord for His comfort that will delight our soul... Maybe you have a difficult situation that cause confusion... God is saying... "There is a great breakthru coming..." The answer is on the way...

Psalm 57:3
He shall send from heaven and save me; He reproaches the one who would swallow me up, God shall send forth His mercy and His truth.

God's gift to the body of Christ

Ephesians 4:11-12
And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors, and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.

Ministry role and giftings are appointed by God for the profit of all... We need not be trying to self-appoint ourselves... especially when it is God who appoints His people... Every part of the body of Christ is equally impt and special and unique... so in any area of calling and role... God will help you come into the ministry according to His timeline and our obedience to His calling.... In knowing this we can focus our expectation on Him and wait on Him and follow Him.... We come into ease knowing that all is fine when God is close to us.... we juz do the simple thing which is to follow after God.

Psalm 75:6
For exaltation comes neither from the east nor from the west nor from the south. But God is the Judge; He puts down one, and exalts another.

Favor of God

Daniel 1:8-9
But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's delicacies, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the chief of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself. Now God had brought Daniel into the favor and good will of the chief of the eunuchs.

Daniel was such a man of God who put God first in every situation... God gave favor to Daniel because of His love but also because Daniel had a close relationship with his God.

Daniel 2:17-19
Then Daniel went to his house, and made the decision known to Hananiah, Mishal, and Azariah, his companions, that they might seek mercies from God of heaven concerning this secret, so that Daniel and his companions might not persih with the rest of the wise men of Babylon. The the secret was revealed to Daniel in a night vision. SO Daniel blessed the God of heaven.

Daniel had good friends who would take time to seek God's face for every difficult situation... and to obey Him... His credibility of being a man of God brought him to a place of great influence...

Also Daniel petitioned the king, and he set Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego over the affairs of the province of Babylon: but Daniel sat in the gate of the king.

Forgiveness and Christ-Likeness

Genesis 50:15-21
When Joseph's brother saw that their father was dead, they said, "Perhaps Joseph will hate us, and may eventually repay us for all the evil which we did to him. " So they sent messengers to Joseph saying, "Before your father died he commanded, saying, 'Thus you shall say to Joseph: "I beg you, please forgive the trespass of your brothers and their sin; for they did evil to you." 'Now, please, forgive the trespass of the servants of the God of your father." And Joseph wept when they spoke to him. Then his brothers also went and fell down beofre his face, and they said, "Behold, we are your servants." Joseph said to them, "Do not be afraid, for am I in the place of God? But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive. Now therefore, do not be afraid; I will provide for you and your little ones." And he comforted them and spoke kindly to them."

God repays blessings for every injustice in life

Genesis 49:22-26
Joseph is a fruitful bough, A fruitful bough by a well; His branches run over the wall. The archers have bitterly grieved him, shot at him and hated him. But his bow remained in strength, and the arms of his hands were made strong by the hands of the Mighty God of Jacob (From there is the shepherd, the Stone of Israel), by the God of Your father who will help you, and by the Almighty who will bless you with blessings of heaven above, blessings of the deep that lies beneath, blessings of the breasts and of the womb. The blessings of your father have excelled the blessings of my ancestors, up to the utmost bound of the everlasting hills. They shall be on the head of Joseph, and on the crown of the head of him who was seperated from his brothers.

Right place Right time

Eccl 9:11
I returned and saw under the sun that- the race is not to the swift, nor battle to the strong, nor bread to the wise, nor riches to men of understanding, nor favor to men of skill; but time and chance happen to them all.

Bible says that there is a God-timing for all our lifes.. how do we come into God's timing... and does this mean we do not have to work and passively wait on God? The answer is all about being well-balanced.... we need to work for bible says if one will not work... He will not eat.

2Thess 3:10
For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: if anyone will not work, neither shall he eat.

God wants us to work....

Proverbs 14:4
Where no oxen are, the trough is clean; but much increase comes by the strength of an ox.

Much increase comes when we are willing to work.... but God is also very clear in the fact that He wants us to work but also follow His Spirit in every situation... Only by following Him and being close to HIm can we be at the right place right time... Balance is so impt... There are times when we overwork and God would want us to wait on Him. Such is the case of Martha who overworks more then follow Jesus... God wants us to work and as we work we wait on Him to let time and chance happen to us... we don't do our own things when we work... we involve Him and let Him lead us as we work in our career.

Psalm 32:8-9
I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with my eye. DO not be like the horse or like the mule, which have no understanding, which must be harnessed with bit and bridle, else they will not come near you.

A horse moves too fast and ahead of GOd, a mule is a lasy donkey who doesn't want to move when God leads... the best example is to be like Jesus... Seeks GOd alone in solitude thru the night and works hard to serve the multitudes and in His work... We need to stop and seek God when the work and ministry gets too much that we lose our time with GOd... We musn't be like Martha... but Mary that choose the good part... as we seek God and follow His leading and work hard... God will place us at the right place and right time.

Rejoicing in Hope

Proverbs 13:12
Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but when the desire comes, it is a tree of life.

God is very sure in making His promises to us... However God also put a time frame for His promises... However as believers we are to rejoice in hope and be patient in tribulation....

Romans 12:12
rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer;

Its never easy at times to wait on God... yet God wants us to rejoice in hope and be patient in trials.... The truth is God will always come true for us at the right time... Hope do not disappoint because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit.... I want to encourage readers to be patient in trial and keep praying and casting ur burdens n anxieties n prayers to Him...

1Peter 5:7
casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

Job 42:12
Now the Lord blessed the latter days of Job more than his beginning; for he had fourteen thousand sheep, six thousand camels, one thousand yoke of oxen, and one thousand female donkeys.

Psalm 23:6
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

Clinging onto His promises

Eccel 3:11
He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.

The promises of God sustains us in every difficult situation....

Psalm 119:31
I cling to Your testimonies; O Lord, do not put me to shame!

The Word of God declares that God has a promise that He has made all things beautiful in its time... in other words we can believe in the goodness of God that everything will be made beautiful... even the ugly things in life can be made beautiful becos of the finished work on calvary that He died for us... to give us beauty instead of ashes....

Isaiah 61:3b
TO give them beauty for ashes....

Isaiah 53:2b
He has no form or comeliness; and when we see Him, there is no beauty that we should desire Him.

Because of what Jesus became for us... we can live in hope for beauty to come into our lives in every area and every aspect... He became ugly to give us beauty for ashes... beauty in every circumstance... I want to encourage you that if any area you feel things have not entire change... to continue to trust God... because of what He has done on the cross the promise of God will always come to pass in His time... He makes all thing beautiful in His time... Keep believing in His promise... Cling on it tightly....

Longing for You

Psalm 63:1-5
O God, You are my God; early will I seek You; my soul thirsts for You; in a dry and thirsty land where there is no water. So I have looked for You in the sanctuarty; to see Your power and Your glory. Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise You. I will lift up my hands in Your name. My soul shall satisfied as with marrow and fatness, and my mouth shall praise You with joyful lips.

Psalm 42:1-2a
As the deer pants for the water brooks, so pants my soul for You, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God.

Psalm 62:1-2
Truly my soul silently waits for God; from Him comes my salvation. He only is my rock and my salvation; He is my defense; I shall not be greatly moved.

Psalm 62:8
Trust in Him at all times, you people; pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us.

Psalm 65:4
Blessed is the man You choose, and cause to approach You, that he may dwell in Your courts. We shall be satisfied with the goodness of Your house, of Your holy temple.

Psalm 86:13
But You, O Lord, are a God full of compassion, and gracious, longsuffering and abundant in mercy and truth.

Psalm 27:4-5
One thing I have desired of the Lord, that will I seek; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in His temple. For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; in the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock.

When you do not know what to do

Psalm 62:8
Trust in Him at all times, you people; pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us.

God know thes desires of our heart and He knows the situation of our life better than anyone... Bible says that the number of hairs we have on our head are even numbered by Him.... In times when we do not know what to do... we must pray and pour our heart to Him....

Psalm 143:8
Cause me to hear Your lovingkindness in the morning, for in You do I trust; cause me to know the way in which I should walk, for I lift up my soul to You.

Psalm 143:10
Teach me to do You will, for You are my God; Your Spirit is good. Lead me in the land of uprightness.

God always has an answer... Bible says ask and you will receive... seek and you will find... knock and it will be open... God has an answer to your situation...

Meditation leads to revelation

Joshua 1:8
This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

In life we hit challenges and trials..... sometimes even disappointments... yet God has a remedy and a comforting word for our soul each time..... It is by reading and focusing on His Word.... God loves to speak through His written Word and loves to give revelation.... I want to challenge all readers to read the bible every morning and night and everytime when you feel you need advice from Him or encouragements from Him or even hope from Him... He wld often speak through the bible.

Psalm 119:148
My eyes are awake through the night watches, that I may meditate on Your word.

Psalm 92:13
Those who are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourished in the courts of our God, they shall still bear fruit in old age; they shall be fresh and flourishing, to declare that the Lord is upright; He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him.
