When things go so wrong....

Proverbs 13:12
Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but when the desire comes, it is the tree of life.

When you did all you can and things go from bad to worst... it is time to renew your strength in God... it is time to calm down and rest in Him....Our part in life is to do our very best to go in the direction of our dreams... however bad things do happen to good pple... even times of injustice... in such situation... it is impt to from back your trust and hope in Him.... God always has a word for each moment of our life....sometimes our weakness cause the problem.... in such time... we still can look for God... for His encouragement and counsel... God loves us and knows the situation of our life... and wants us to respond in faith and obedience to Him.... Be patient for Him always...

Proverbs 20:22
Do not say, "I will recompense evil"; wait for the Lord, and He will save you.

When our own mistakes cause us to fail... we should humbly accept and work wiser and better next time.

Proverbs 21:25
The desire of the slothful kills him, for his hands refuse to labour.

But sometimes its a matter of injustice and emotional instability or even fatique or tireness that cause a loss of confidence... God will help us to be more patient and stronger in endurance... as we go through trials of difficulty... God has a better answer... that in the end we would be bless by Him double for every trial as we patiently wait on Him and follow Him...

In the end of the tunnel

Romans 5:1-5
Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope. Now hope does not disappointn because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

God has a great ending for our life... the promises of God are "Yes and Amen"... no matter wat you are going thru... God wants to encourage you to persist in faith... For God is able to make all things work together for your good... Keep persisting in faith... there will be trials... there will be valley of the shadow of death... but we fear no evil for His rod and staff comforts us... and goodness and mercy shall follow us all the days of our life... Hope deferred may make the heart sick... but when the desire come... it is the tree of life... if you are waiting for your breakthru... keep on trusting in His promise.... delight yourself in the Lord and He shall give you the desires of your heart... He makes all things beautiful in His time...

Holy Courage

Daniel 3:16-18
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego answered and said to the king, "O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter. Of that is the case, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us from your hand, O king. :But if not, let it be knowm to you, O king, that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up."

Because of their courage and trust in God.... God came into the situation and turn it around for their good.

Daniel 3:24-25
Then King Nebuchadnezzar was astonished; and he rose in haste and spoke, saying to his counsellors, "Did we not cast three men bound into the midst of the firt?" They answered and said to the king, "True, O king." "Look!" he answered, "I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire; and they are not hurt, and the form of the forth is like the Son of God."

Take time to seek God for right answers

Daniel 2:16-19
So Daniel went in and asked the king to give him time, that he might tell the king the interpretation. Then Daniel went to his house, and made the decision kown to Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, his compaions, that they might seek mercies from the God of heaven concerning this secret, so that Daniel and his companions might not perish with the rest of the wise men of Babylon. Then the secret was revealed to Daniel in a night vision. So Daniel blessed the God of heaven.

God loves to reveal to us His Will... we must take time liek Daniel to seek God concerning the Will of God and the wisdom of God in every situation... For God loves to reveal His ways and His will to us...

Daniel 2:28
But there is a God in heaven who reveals secrets, and he has made known to King Nebuchadnezzar what will be in the latter days. Your dream, and the visions of your head upon your bed were these.

Daniel 2:47-49
The king answered Daniel, and said, "Truly your God is the GOd of gods, the Lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets, since you could reveal this secret." Then the king promoted Daniel and gave him many great gifts; and he made him ruler over the whole province of Babylon, and chief administrator over all the wise men of Babylon. Also Daniel petitioned the king, and he set Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego over the affairs of the province of Babylon; but Daniel sat in the gate of the king.

Prisoner of hope

Psalm 27:14
The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked came against me to eat up my flesh, my enemies and foes, they stumble and fell. Though an army should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; though war should rise against me, in this I will be confident. One thing I have desired of the Lord, that will I seek; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in His temple. For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; in the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock. And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me; therefore I will offer sacrifices of joy in His tabernacle; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the Lord. Hear, O Lord, when I cry with my voice! Have mercy also upon me, and answer me. When You said, "Seek My face." My heart said to You, "Your face, Lord, I will seek." Do not hide Your face from me; do not turn Your servant away in anger, You have been my help; do not leave me nor forsake me, O God of my salvation. When my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord will take care of me. Teach me Your way, O Lord, and lead me in a smooth path, because of my enemies. Do not deliver me to the will of my adversaries, for false witnesses have risen against me, and such as breathe out violence. I would have lost heart, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait on the Lord; be of strong courage, and He shall stengthen your heart; wait, I say, on the Lord!

ps: Do not lose heart... He is faithful to you... seek Him and wait for His leading... He loves you...

Fear not

Psalm 94:17-18
Unless the Lord had been my help, my soul would soon have settled in silence, if I say, "My foot slips," Your mercy, O Lord, will hold me up. In the multitude of my anxieties within me, Your comforts delight my soul.

There are seasons or situation where we feel afraid and confuse... But God is always with us... God's mercy is always there to hold us up... in the multitude of pressure and confusion... we can run to the Lord for His comfort that will delight our soul... Maybe you have a difficult situation that cause confusion... God is saying... "There is a great breakthru coming..." The answer is on the way...

Psalm 57:3
He shall send from heaven and save me; He reproaches the one who would swallow me up, God shall send forth His mercy and His truth.

God's gift to the body of Christ

Ephesians 4:11-12
And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors, and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.

Ministry role and giftings are appointed by God for the profit of all... We need not be trying to self-appoint ourselves... especially when it is God who appoints His people... Every part of the body of Christ is equally impt and special and unique... so in any area of calling and role... God will help you come into the ministry according to His timeline and our obedience to His calling.... In knowing this we can focus our expectation on Him and wait on Him and follow Him.... We come into ease knowing that all is fine when God is close to us.... we juz do the simple thing which is to follow after God.

Psalm 75:6
For exaltation comes neither from the east nor from the west nor from the south. But God is the Judge; He puts down one, and exalts another.

Favor of God

Daniel 1:8-9
But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's delicacies, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the chief of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself. Now God had brought Daniel into the favor and good will of the chief of the eunuchs.

Daniel was such a man of God who put God first in every situation... God gave favor to Daniel because of His love but also because Daniel had a close relationship with his God.

Daniel 2:17-19
Then Daniel went to his house, and made the decision known to Hananiah, Mishal, and Azariah, his companions, that they might seek mercies from God of heaven concerning this secret, so that Daniel and his companions might not persih with the rest of the wise men of Babylon. The the secret was revealed to Daniel in a night vision. SO Daniel blessed the God of heaven.

Daniel had good friends who would take time to seek God's face for every difficult situation... and to obey Him... His credibility of being a man of God brought him to a place of great influence...

Also Daniel petitioned the king, and he set Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego over the affairs of the province of Babylon: but Daniel sat in the gate of the king.

Forgiveness and Christ-Likeness

Genesis 50:15-21
When Joseph's brother saw that their father was dead, they said, "Perhaps Joseph will hate us, and may eventually repay us for all the evil which we did to him. " So they sent messengers to Joseph saying, "Before your father died he commanded, saying, 'Thus you shall say to Joseph: "I beg you, please forgive the trespass of your brothers and their sin; for they did evil to you." 'Now, please, forgive the trespass of the servants of the God of your father." And Joseph wept when they spoke to him. Then his brothers also went and fell down beofre his face, and they said, "Behold, we are your servants." Joseph said to them, "Do not be afraid, for am I in the place of God? But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive. Now therefore, do not be afraid; I will provide for you and your little ones." And he comforted them and spoke kindly to them."

God repays blessings for every injustice in life

Genesis 49:22-26
Joseph is a fruitful bough, A fruitful bough by a well; His branches run over the wall. The archers have bitterly grieved him, shot at him and hated him. But his bow remained in strength, and the arms of his hands were made strong by the hands of the Mighty God of Jacob (From there is the shepherd, the Stone of Israel), by the God of Your father who will help you, and by the Almighty who will bless you with blessings of heaven above, blessings of the deep that lies beneath, blessings of the breasts and of the womb. The blessings of your father have excelled the blessings of my ancestors, up to the utmost bound of the everlasting hills. They shall be on the head of Joseph, and on the crown of the head of him who was seperated from his brothers.

Right place Right time

Eccl 9:11
I returned and saw under the sun that- the race is not to the swift, nor battle to the strong, nor bread to the wise, nor riches to men of understanding, nor favor to men of skill; but time and chance happen to them all.

Bible says that there is a God-timing for all our lifes.. how do we come into God's timing... and does this mean we do not have to work and passively wait on God? The answer is all about being well-balanced.... we need to work for bible says if one will not work... He will not eat.

2Thess 3:10
For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: if anyone will not work, neither shall he eat.

God wants us to work....

Proverbs 14:4
Where no oxen are, the trough is clean; but much increase comes by the strength of an ox.

Much increase comes when we are willing to work.... but God is also very clear in the fact that He wants us to work but also follow His Spirit in every situation... Only by following Him and being close to HIm can we be at the right place right time... Balance is so impt... There are times when we overwork and God would want us to wait on Him. Such is the case of Martha who overworks more then follow Jesus... God wants us to work and as we work we wait on Him to let time and chance happen to us... we don't do our own things when we work... we involve Him and let Him lead us as we work in our career.

Psalm 32:8-9
I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with my eye. DO not be like the horse or like the mule, which have no understanding, which must be harnessed with bit and bridle, else they will not come near you.

A horse moves too fast and ahead of GOd, a mule is a lasy donkey who doesn't want to move when God leads... the best example is to be like Jesus... Seeks GOd alone in solitude thru the night and works hard to serve the multitudes and in His work... We need to stop and seek God when the work and ministry gets too much that we lose our time with GOd... We musn't be like Martha... but Mary that choose the good part... as we seek God and follow His leading and work hard... God will place us at the right place and right time.

Rejoicing in Hope

Proverbs 13:12
Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but when the desire comes, it is a tree of life.

God is very sure in making His promises to us... However God also put a time frame for His promises... However as believers we are to rejoice in hope and be patient in tribulation....

Romans 12:12
rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer;

Its never easy at times to wait on God... yet God wants us to rejoice in hope and be patient in trials.... The truth is God will always come true for us at the right time... Hope do not disappoint because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit.... I want to encourage readers to be patient in trial and keep praying and casting ur burdens n anxieties n prayers to Him...

1Peter 5:7
casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

Job 42:12
Now the Lord blessed the latter days of Job more than his beginning; for he had fourteen thousand sheep, six thousand camels, one thousand yoke of oxen, and one thousand female donkeys.

Psalm 23:6
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

Clinging onto His promises

Eccel 3:11
He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.

The promises of God sustains us in every difficult situation....

Psalm 119:31
I cling to Your testimonies; O Lord, do not put me to shame!

The Word of God declares that God has a promise that He has made all things beautiful in its time... in other words we can believe in the goodness of God that everything will be made beautiful... even the ugly things in life can be made beautiful becos of the finished work on calvary that He died for us... to give us beauty instead of ashes....

Isaiah 61:3b
TO give them beauty for ashes....

Isaiah 53:2b
He has no form or comeliness; and when we see Him, there is no beauty that we should desire Him.

Because of what Jesus became for us... we can live in hope for beauty to come into our lives in every area and every aspect... He became ugly to give us beauty for ashes... beauty in every circumstance... I want to encourage you that if any area you feel things have not entire change... to continue to trust God... because of what He has done on the cross the promise of God will always come to pass in His time... He makes all thing beautiful in His time... Keep believing in His promise... Cling on it tightly....

Longing for You

Psalm 63:1-5
O God, You are my God; early will I seek You; my soul thirsts for You; in a dry and thirsty land where there is no water. So I have looked for You in the sanctuarty; to see Your power and Your glory. Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise You. I will lift up my hands in Your name. My soul shall satisfied as with marrow and fatness, and my mouth shall praise You with joyful lips.

Psalm 42:1-2a
As the deer pants for the water brooks, so pants my soul for You, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God.

Psalm 62:1-2
Truly my soul silently waits for God; from Him comes my salvation. He only is my rock and my salvation; He is my defense; I shall not be greatly moved.

Psalm 62:8
Trust in Him at all times, you people; pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us.

Psalm 65:4
Blessed is the man You choose, and cause to approach You, that he may dwell in Your courts. We shall be satisfied with the goodness of Your house, of Your holy temple.

Psalm 86:13
But You, O Lord, are a God full of compassion, and gracious, longsuffering and abundant in mercy and truth.

Psalm 27:4-5
One thing I have desired of the Lord, that will I seek; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in His temple. For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; in the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock.

When you do not know what to do

Psalm 62:8
Trust in Him at all times, you people; pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us.

God know thes desires of our heart and He knows the situation of our life better than anyone... Bible says that the number of hairs we have on our head are even numbered by Him.... In times when we do not know what to do... we must pray and pour our heart to Him....

Psalm 143:8
Cause me to hear Your lovingkindness in the morning, for in You do I trust; cause me to know the way in which I should walk, for I lift up my soul to You.

Psalm 143:10
Teach me to do You will, for You are my God; Your Spirit is good. Lead me in the land of uprightness.

God always has an answer... Bible says ask and you will receive... seek and you will find... knock and it will be open... God has an answer to your situation...

Meditation leads to revelation

Joshua 1:8
This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

In life we hit challenges and trials..... sometimes even disappointments... yet God has a remedy and a comforting word for our soul each time..... It is by reading and focusing on His Word.... God loves to speak through His written Word and loves to give revelation.... I want to challenge all readers to read the bible every morning and night and everytime when you feel you need advice from Him or encouragements from Him or even hope from Him... He wld often speak through the bible.

Psalm 119:148
My eyes are awake through the night watches, that I may meditate on Your word.

Psalm 92:13
Those who are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourished in the courts of our God, they shall still bear fruit in old age; they shall be fresh and flourishing, to declare that the Lord is upright; He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him.

Seeking,Hoping and Trusitng (2)

Jeremiah 17:5-8
Thus says the Lord: "curses is the man who trust in man and makes flesh his strength, whose heart departs from the Lord. For he shall be like a shrub in the desert, and shall not see when good comes, but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land which is not inhabited. Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, and whose hope is the Lord. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, which spreads out its roots by the river, and will not hear when heat comes; but its leaf will be green and will not be anxious in the year of drought, nor seize from yielding fruit.

In our desire to pursue our dreams we must learn to trust in Him.... we have to believe that true promotion comes from Him... if we self-promote it is not genunie and would not last... if we wait on Him the results will be a great harvest... waiting on Him sometimes seems difficult... but God is faithful to come true.... In His time... He makes all things beautiful in His time...

Isaiah 30:1-3
"Woe to the rebellious children." says the Lord, "Who take counsel, but not of Me, and who devise plans, but not of My Spirit, that they may add sin to sin; who walk to go down to Egypt, and have not asked My advice, to strengthen themselves in the strength of Pharaoh, and to trust in the shadow of Egypt! Therefore the strength of Pharaoh shall be your shame, and trust in the shadow of Egypt shall be your humiliation.

So in our trust in God and pursuit of dreams... we must lean on God and follow His leading... His advice... His grace and direction... and in the right time.. God will come true for you.. greater things are ahead...

Eccl 3:11a
He has made everything beautiful in its time.

Seeking,Hoping and Trusting

Isaiah 30:15
For thus says the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel: "In returning and rest you shall be saved; in quietness and confidence shall be your strength." But you would not.

God wants us to focus our hope in Him.... sometimes its the quiet confidence or hope in Him that He is looking for.... we as humans find it hard to trust and hope in Him... we rather do our own activities then to trust and wait for Him to lead us....

Isaiah 30:16-17
And you said, "No, for we will flee on horses"- therefore you shall flee! And, "We will ride on swift horses"- Therefore those who pursue you shall be swift! One thousand shall flee at the threat of one. At the threat of five you shall flee, till you are left as a pole on top of a mountain and as a banner on a hill.

Never ever do anything till you have seek God and have waited on Him for His leading...

Isaiah 31:1
Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help, and rely on horses, who trust in chariots because they are many, and do not look to the Holy One of Israel, nor seek the Lord.

It is very hard for a strong or smart man to wait on God's timing.... relying on horses or chariots may seem to give instant results... hwoever it wld be a weak results.... depending on God may seem very slow... yet the results is God-given and yield genuine harvest... such is the case of Abraham and Sarah...Isaac seemed so slow that they tried to help God by achieving the results by own way and produce a problem child Ismael. We must remember if we want God results there are times God lets us wait...as we wait He is developing character of patience and trust in us....

Wisdom and kindness

Proverbs 12:26
The righteous should choose his friends carefully, for the way of the wicked leads them astray.

Friends are very impt in our lives... God wants us to choose them carefully...

Proverb 22:11
He who loves purity of heart and has grace on his lips, the king will be his friend.

Purity of heart is very impt... many friends wld come around us with impure motives... God has a better way.... God wants us to have pure motive when we befriend others... having grace on our lips means being kind toward others... kindness is very impt element to being a friend... kindess is a love expression...

Proverbs 19:22
What is desired in a man is kindness, and a poor man is better than a liar.

Plans

Proverbs 19:21
There are many plans in a man's heart. Nevertheless the Lord's counsel that will stand.

In life we must remember to pray through with God all our plans and ideas and thoughts... When God leads the way... usually He brings success to us.... in His timing...

Eccl 9:11
I return and saw under the sun that- The race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, nor bread to the wise, nor riches to men of understanding, nor favor to men of skill; but time and chance happen to them all.

As christians... we have the privilege to pray to God to allow divine happenings to happen to us... As christians we can also pray to God for favor... we can actually live the supernatural life.... In conclusion, God wants to bless us in everyway... we must always remember to seek His counsel and pray for divine happenings and for favor... and as we do that we will find ourselves at the right place at the right time... because it is God who directs our steps.

Ruth 2:2
So Ruth the Moabitess said to Naomi, "Please let me go to the field, and glean heads of grain after him in whose sight I may find favor.' And she said to her, "Go, my daughter."

Ruth believed God for favor and timing and in the end she became Boaz wife and was redeemed by him. Today let the same God give you favor and divine timing that you may do the right thing at the right time. As you follow His peace that reigns in your heart...

Isaiah 48:17
Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: "I am the Lord your God, who teaches you to profit, who leads you by the way you should go."

Labouring in the Word

1Tim 5:17
Let the elders who rule well be counted worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in the word and doctrine.

2Tim 2:15
Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Eccl 12:12
And further, my son, be admonished by these. Of making many books there is no end, and much study is wearisome to the flesh.

As a servant of God we need to labour in God's Word.... We need to take time to really study God's Word... it takes effort yet it is a delight to the soul and spirit and life to the body....

Psalm 119:130
The entrance of Your words give light; It gives understanding to the simple.

Psalm 119:105
Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.

Psalm 119:162
I rejoice at Your word as one who finds great treasure.

No Worries

Matthew 6:31-34
Therefore do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' "For after these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will wory about its own things. Sufficient for the day it its own trouble.

God is a good God who doesn't want us to worry.... medical research found that stress can increase the chance of terminal disease such as cancer.... God wants us to live in a state of trusting in His promise.... Trusting in His love.... our Heavenly Father knows the things we need before we ask Him... yet He wants us to pray let His kingdom come and His Will be done in every situation and never to worry...... Worrying cannot increase our stature or even increase us in anyway... God wants us to trust in Him in every situation to hope in His Word...

Matthew 6:27
Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?

Matthew 6:33
But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Perseverance

Romans 8:37
Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.

In times of difficulties and trials we need to constantly remind ourselves of God's love for us... we need to be persuaded to believe God's unchanging love for us...

Romans 8:38-39
For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present not things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

God will eventually come and lift us out of the situation.... we need to remind ourselves of His love and keep rejoicing in trials... believing all things will eventually work for the good.... we need to keep our heart sound and not anxious... we need to stop worry and keep believing.... Trials produce perseverance... which produce character.... character of goodness, kindness, meekness, gentleness will be develope in trials.... compassion for others will grow in our trials.... eventually God always come true for the believer....

Romans 5:5
Now hope does not disappoint because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

His yoke is easy... His burden is light...

Matthew 11:28-30
Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and You will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.

The bible says that God's yoke is easy and His burden is light.... And bible also says that we can come into the rest of God everytime we come to Him.....

John 14:27
Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Society loves to use fear to control and manupulate situations... God never leads by fear... He leads only in peace....

Romans 8:15
For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, "Abba, Father."

Want to encourage each one that God is a loving Father who doesn't use fear tactics to lead His people... He leads by peace and loves to relate to us as a Father to a child....

All things work together for your good

Romans 8:28
And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

God is an eternal God... the beginning and the end.... He knows our life.... the decisions we make... before we make any decisions... God knows... and He always wants to help us... esp in times we feel we need His help the most...

Psalm 139:15-17
My frame was not hidden from You, when I was made in secret, and skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, the days fashioned for me, when as yet there were none of them. How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them! If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand; when I awake, I am still with You.

God loves you... He thinks of you day and night... You can go to Him for help and cry out for His counsel and He is willing to give you advice and help you in your life....

Becos of Him

Romans 4:13
For the promise that he would be the heir of the world was not to Abraham or to his seed through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.

Because of what Jesus did for us on the cross... taking the curse on our behalf... we have become blessed with the blessing of Abraham.... and this blessing is bestowed on us as we become believers of Jesus Christ.... now we can live in hope and expectancy in looking forward... for hope does not disappoint bcos of the love of God that has been poured into our hearts by the Holy Spirit.... So whatever trial you are facing now... you can hope and believe that as trial produces perseverance... perseverance... character.... and hope does not disappoint... means the promise of being an heir of the world... will manifest... openly... cos you are the heir of the world even in this situation you are in... and as you believe and trust in God... the promise will manifest in time....

Romans 4:20
He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God.

called, chosen, faithful

Psalm 78:70-72
He also chose David His servant, and took him from the sheepfolds; from following the ewes that had young He brought him, to shepherd Jacob His people, and Israel His inheritance. So he shepherded them according to the integrity of his heart, and guided them by the skillfulness of his hands.

God is omnipresent and knows everything...

Matthew 6:8
Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him.

In every situation we can trust in Him...

Giftings and abilities

Proverbs 18:16
A man's gift makes room for him, and brings him before great men.

Our talents and abilities from God can bring us toward great men.... these talents and giftings are irrevocable...

Proverbs 22:29
Do you see a man who excels in his work? He will stand before kings; He will not stand before unknown men.

Priority

1Tim3:4-5
one who rules his own house well, having his children in submission with all reverence (for if a man does not know how to rule his own house, how will he take care of the church of God?)

God has ordained priority for our life... Priority one is God... priority two is family.... priority three is the house of God.... christians often make the mistake of putting GOd's house before their own house.... this is a mistake.... thinking by building God's house.. God wld build their household... this is not true... God wants us to provide for our family and rule our household well before we become leaders in His house....

2Thess3:10
For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: If anyone will not work, neither shall he eat.

God's pattern of blessing is to put Him first... take care of our family... rule it well.. and then take care of the house of God...

Brotherhood

Proverbs 17:17
A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born adversity.

We must always treasure people who have went the extra mile for us.... there many friends we can have but most are acquaintances.... but the value of a brother is much higher.... in life we may not have so many.... yet God wants us to treasure them... never take them for granted... and be there for them in their most difficult time... the sad truth is we only want to be there for people in their success yet when they go thru the fiery trial we often let them go to go thru alone.... if you want to have friends... you must learn to be a friend... and crisis brings out the true nature of the friendship.... and its not wrong to have many friends or many acquaintances.... but GOd wants to give you close brothers that would stand with you in adversity... meanwhile we must learn to be a brother in someone elses adversity...

Proverbs 18:24
A man who has friends must himself be friendly, But there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.

X-Factor

Proverbs 31:10
Who can find a virtuous wife? For her worth is far above rubies.

In today's society we always promote external beauty and outward attraction.... yet God sees deeper.... In the Bible.... which is the wisdom of God.... God did not say who can find a beautiful lady.... He said who can find a virtuous lady.... wow... X-Factor is being the virtuous person in God...

Proverbs 31:30
Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing, but a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised.

1Peter 3:4
rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of GOd.

Proverb 19:14
Houses and riches are an inheritance from fathers, but a prudent wife is from the Lord.

Positive mindset

Romans 8:28
And we know that all things work together for good to those who love GOd, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

God always work all things for our good.... so in good and bad things in life can be use for our good...

Genesis 50:20
"But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive."

While tribulation do happen in our life... yet God always has a greater plan as long as we trust in Him and believe to the end of the other tunnel.... God is faithful...

Psalm 30:5
For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life; weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.

Healing

1John 4:18
there is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.

God's love brings assurance and healing to the insecure soul.... fear is not from God... God never leads in fear... bible says that fear involves torment... today God is patient and kind to you.... He is longsuffering towards you... He is gentle to you... He is meek toward you.... He thinks no evil towards you... He is truthful toward you.... He bears all things and hopes the best for you.... His love will never fail you.... His love is perfect toward you....

1john 4:19
We love Him because He first loved us.

bondage to liberty

Romans 8:15
For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, "Abba, Father."

In Christ we come into peace with God and enter into a state of no bondage.... bondage of fear paralyze us... today the good news is you have step out of the Spirit of bondage to fear because of what Jesus has done for you... and enter in the rest of God.... For you have not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear... but the Spirit of sonship... the Spirit of Adoption.... where we can go to God and call Him "Daddy... Abba.." and He will respond for we have become His children...

Romans 5:8-9
For God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.

Peace

Psalm 31:15a
My times are in Your hands.

God knows the times and seasons of our lives.... Satan loves to throw temptation to cause us to react in fear... however GOd wants us to trust in Him.... When Jesus was tempted by the devil... He was tempted in the area of who He was... the devil tried to tempt Jesus to prove Himself and who Jesus was.... in life we will be tempted to prove our worth to others.... that is a trap by the devil... the wise thing to do is to trust and depend on the Lord.... Jesus was smart enough not to fall into the trap... of proving Himself... today God doesnt want you to react in fear or react to prove a point... God wants us to be like Jesus and trust ourselves to Him for our times are in His hands... God is always able to bring His Will for our lives at the right time... and the longer the wait... the greater the breakthru... Sarah waited so long before the breakthru came...

Galatians 4:27
"Rejoice, O barren, you who do not bear! Break forth and shout, you who are not in labor! For the desoloate has many more children than she who has a husband."

Today God wants to remind us that many more are the children of the desolate at the right time... in other words... the breakthru will be greater....

When God's grace abound

2Cor 12:9-10
And He said to me, "My grace is suffictient for you, for my strength is made perfect in weakness." Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong..

Everyone has weaknesses.... everyone has a thorn in the flesh that bugs them or cause pain or irritation... however God has an answer and He does not want us to be despair... the answer is the gospel.. the good news of what Jesus did for us that we become new creation in Christ... that we came from darkness to light... from curse to being blessed... so now in every pain or in every weakness... we can take pleasure knowing God's grace will abound and we will receive the promise in due season... God loves to choose underdogs to be with them in their weakness and His grace superabound in their weaknesses.... so I wan to encourage you that in your area of pain... area of thorn in the flesh... area of irritation... to be encouraged for in due season the promise shall be fulfilled... greater shall be your breakthrough... take pleasure for His grace is with you when you are feeling the pain... when you are weak then you are strong for He is close to you and His grace is helping you as you believe and trust in Him and enjoy the closesness with Him and his grace....

Romans 5:20
Moreover the law entered that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace abounded much more.

Journey (2)

Eccel 3:11
He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.

In our journey of faith..... after we come into grace through God.... we are then waiting patiently and eagerly for the fulfillment of the promise of God to us.... What God has done on the cross is a guarantee for that the promise of God to be fulfilled in our lives... however God has a timing for everything under heaven... that GOd is not a man that He would lie... and He promise to make all things beautiful in its time.... stay patient and stay calm... peservere in all things and keep trusting and believing in His promises for it has already been guaranteed on the cross....

Romans 5:2-5
through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoiec in hope of the glory of God. And not only that, but we also glory in tribulation, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character, and character, hope. Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

Isaiah 61:3a
To console those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty for ashes

Whatever area in your life that you feel God has not yet come true.... God is saying it has been purchased by the blood of Jesus and He has promised beauty in the area where you feel there is ashes... God wants to encourage you to keep trusting and develope the character of trust and patience... And in due season... at the right time... He makes all things beautiful in His time...

Security and meaning

Psalm 63:1-3
O God, You are my God; Early will I seek You; My soul thirsts for You; in a dry and thirsty land where there is no water. So I have looked for You in the sanctuary, to see Your power and Your glory. Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, My lips shall praise You.

Dr A.R Bernard taught us that idolatry is finding our security and meaning in something other than God Himself... It could be a person, a way of doing things, in a religious system or even in oneself..... Idolatry is finding something other than God to fill the meaning and security in one's life.... today God wants us to trust Him and put away all forms of idolatry in our life... it could be a person that you put ur trust in more than God... it could be position in a religious system... or even in yourself.... God loves you today and wants you to trust Him above all these things that has no true security and meaning...today cast your cares on Him for He cares for you... Let Him satisfy you... Let Him be your God.... He loves you and wants you to put your hope in Him.... He loves you and yearns for your fellowship... today draw near to Him and He will draw near to you...

Psalm 62:8
Trust in Him at all times you people; pour our your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us.

Journey (part 1)

Romans 5:1
Therefore having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Because of Jesus death and ressurection for us on the cross... we enter into a state of peace with GOd when we believe in Him.... Salvation is on the basis of Jesus taking all our sins on the cross and rose up on the third day....It is by grace through faith we come into salvation and peace with GOd.... However after we enter into peace with God because of Jesus... we have journey of faith...

Romans 4:12b
but who also walk in the steps of faith which our father Abraham had while still uncircumcised.

There is steps of faith or journey of faith we come into.... and in the end of the journey is the glory of God...

Romans 5:2
through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

Time to get up again

Romans 4:13
For the promise that he would be the heir of the world was not to Abraham or to his seed through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.

Because of what Jesus did on the cross we as seed of Abraham are given the promise to be the heir of the world.....

Romans 4:18-21
who, contrary to hope, in hope believed, so that he became the father of many nations, according to what was spoken, "So shall your descendants be." And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah's womb. He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthen in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promise He was able to perform.

Today want to encourage you to be like Abraham... no matter what situation yo uare in... God wants you to be stengthen in faith... Just like Abraham... and God wants you to believe in His promise for your life... the promise of God will come true for your life.... He makes all thigns beautiful in His time... Hope deferred makes the heart sick but when desire comes it is a tree of life....

His faithfulness

Psalm 138:7-8
Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me; You will stretch out Your hand against the wrath of my enemies, and Your right hand will save me. The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever; Do not forsake the works of Your hands.

Today we want to talk about God's faithfulness.... We must always reflect on it especially in times of trouble.... David said that the Lord will perfect that which concerns him.... many a time in our life we feel so lost and confuse.... yet in such moments God is saying I will perfect that which concerns you... I will revive you in the midst of trouble... I will not forsake you nor leave you.... I will make all things work for the good to you... I believe today God wants us to continue trusting in His goodness and His faithfulness that He is the same yesterday, today and forever and He keeps His Word..... He will keep His promise to you... delay is never denial... Keep hoping and trusting in His Word and promise because He is faithful...Because we serve a God who has made a covenant with us by sending His son to die for us....

Psalm 27:13
I would have lost heart, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.

Revival

Psalm 119:25
My soul clings to the dust; revive me according to Your word.

Jesus said in this world we will have tribulation but be of good cheer for He has overcome the world.... In difficult moments we need God's rhema (spoken word) and logos (written word) to sustain our soul.....

Psalm 119:23
Princes also sit and speak against me, but Your servant meditates on Your statutes.

God's word bring hope of deliverance and hope of God's goodness that gives us the hope to sustain us in any trial.... the hope that His goodness will eventually prevail brings comfort to us.

Psalm 119:49-50
Remember the word to Your servant, upon which You have caused me to hope. This is my comfort in my affliction, for Your word has given me life.

Psalm 119:67
Before I was afflicted I went astray, but not I keep Your word.

Psalm 119:71-72
It is good for me that I have been afflicted, that I may learn Your statutes. The law of Your mouth is better to me than thousand of coins of gold and silver.

Psalm 119:92
Unless Your law had been my delight, I would then have perished in my affliction.

Psalm 119:105
Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.

Psalm 119:140-141
Your word is very pure; therefore Your servant loves it. I am small and despised, yet I do not forget Your precepts

Psalm 119:143
Trouble and anguish have overtaken me, yet Your commandments are my delights.

Psalm 119:174
I long for Your salvation, O Lord, and Your law is my delight.

Include God in every situation

Matthew 6:8
"Therefore do not be like them. For Your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him."

Matthew 6:32
For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.

God knows all things... He even knows the number of hair you have on your head.... There is nothing too small that escape Him.... He loves to help you in the tiny details and little choices you make in life... Do not be afraid to pray in every situation for His Will to be done....

Phil 4:6
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God that surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

positive because of Him

Romans 8:28
And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

In life we must be posititve..... to be positive we must have a certain mindset.... this is a good mindset to have... that God makes all thigns work together for good to those who love God... so if you love God.. He wants to make all things work for your good... Even the bad things that happen to our life... God is able to make it work for our good... consider Joseph... who went through extreme injustice and unfair situation... the devil may throw all these abd things to Joseph... People may treat him unfairly... His brothers may sold him out of jeolousy... Potiphar's wife may falsely accuse him.. the butler he helped may have forgotten him... yet in all these moment.. God was always with him... and God always may all things work together for good for him... even in prison all things work together for his good... in the end God elevated Joseph at the right time after much difficulties... and He became the Prime Minister of Egypt.... I want to encourage you to be positive and trust God that He is faithful and will make all things work together for your good... as you love Him and trust Him...

Gen 50:20
"But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive."

Gratitude

Galatians 3:9
So then those who are of faith are blessed with believing Abraham.

We must always be thankful for what Jesus did for us on the cross... because of His death for our sins and resurrection we have come into a new covenant with God... A covenanat that cause us to have the blessing of God by faith in Jesus Christ....

Galatians 3:13-14
Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us ( for it is written, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree"), that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

Because of what Jesus did.... we the people of faith are blessed... those who are of faith in Jesus are blessed like believing Abraham....

Genesis 12:2-3
I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you , and I will curse him who curses you; and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.

Gen 13:2
Abram was very rich in livestock, in silver, and in gold.

Life is not so much about wealth... however in the blessing of Abraham which Jesus given us... it contains financial abundance so that we can be a blessing to others... what kindness of God we received becos of Jesus....

"So Father we thank You for what You did for us... we thank You and we trust you in every situation knowing that You know all things and have blessed us because of Jesus... we place our trust in You and thank You for Your love and kindness toward us.... in that while we are sinner... You send Jesus to die for us... that now we believe and become new creation in Christ and are blessed with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places... thank You Lord..."

Anxious for nothing

Phil 4:6-7
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Whatever that is bothering you and causing anxiety needs to be given to GOd.... bible says we cast our cares to Him because He cares for us.... what is bothering you today? God wants you not to be anxious.... But He wants you to pray it to Him and give Him the request you desire.... He promise that His peace that surpasses all understanding will guard your heart and minds.... Let your request be known to Him.... and let His peace reign and lead and guide you... Amen....

Psalm 62:8
Trust in Him at all times; you people; pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us.

Judge Him faithful

Hebrews 11:11
By faith Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed, and she bore a child when she was past the age, because she judged Him faithful who had promised.

When God makes promise He definitely will keep it.... He always keeps His Word.... He is the same yesterday, today and forever.... However like Sarah... sometimes we are in a situation that we keep on waiting and waiting... for the promise to be fulfilled.... however in such situation we need to judge God as faithful to His Word.... we need to judge God as a God who doesn't lie.... a God who fulfills His Word in due season.... Today I want to encourage you to keep saying :"God is faithful to His promise to me." In every situation... keep believing ... keep judging God as a faithful God to His Word....

Romans 4:20-21
He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform.

Romans 5:5
Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

Your breakthrough is coming

Psalm 31:19
Oh, how great is Your goodness, which You have laid up for those who fear You, which You have prepared for those who trust in You in the presence of the sons of men!

God has goodness and mercy laid up for us all.... the key to this goodness is really a simple trust and simple hope in Him in all situation.... Bible says that if we being evil know how to give good gifts to our children... then how much more would God the Father give good things to those who ask Him.... Our faith leaks from time to time... thats why it is so impt to read scriptures to encourage our faith in Him....

Psalm 57:2
I will cry out to God Most High, to God who performs all things for me.

God wants to perform for you... He wants to give you your desired breakthru.... No matter how difficult or impossible it seems... GOd is still God and He will grant to you the desires of your heart.

Psalm 62:1
Truely my soul silently waits for God; from Him comes my salvation.

Our salvation... our breakthru... our desires.... all come from Him in due season... Today I believe God wants us to keep trusting... to keep hoping.... to keep believing...and to keep following Him... and everybody say:"AMen"

Romans8:32
He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?

Don't give up... keep trusting and hoping... Your breakthru is coming.... due season is coming...

Why God Why

Hebrews 6:19
This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil.

Sometimes when we do all the right things yet the outcome seems to go wrong we get weary.... in such circumstance we must remember that God's Word is true and supercedes all circumstances... The best response is I don't know but God's Word is true and I trust His Word... His Word says I am blessed, I have abundance in Christ, I am healthy in Christ, I am protected in Christ, whatever I touch prosper, whatever circumstance I am more than a conqueror...

Hebrews 6:18
that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us.

God will never lie to you.... He has promised blessing for your life and He paid it by dying on the cross for you... and you receive the blessing cos He paid for you... and as you patiently endure... you will obtain the promise.

Hebrews 6:14-15
saying, "Surely blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply you." And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.

Be patient in the trial you are in.... God has the blessing on the other side.... Have a great and humble attitude in your trial... He has blessed you in Christ... Be patient for the manifestation of your breakthrough....

Trusting Him

Psalm 119:49-50
Remember the word to Your servant, upon which You have caused me to hope. This is my comfort in my affliction, for Your word has given me life.

Affliction is a state of pain and trial.... in such situation we need to turn to God's word... for God is a good God and wants to heal and bring comfort and encourage our faith in Him.....

Psalm 119:107
I am afflicted very much; revive me, O Lord, according to Your word.

It is God's word that would bring the hope and faith into our hearts in any given situation..

1Peter 2:18-19
Servants, be submissive to your masters with all fear, not only to the good and gentle, but also the harsh. For this is commendable, if because of conscience toward God one endures grief, suffering wrongfully.

When you go through sufferings... God wants you to know that He understands... and wants you to remain with a good attitude before Him.... God wants you to continue to trust Him for He is able to make all things work together for your good...

1Peter 4:19
Therefore let those who suffer according to the will of God commit their souls to Him in doing good, as to a faithful Creator.

1Peter 5:6-7
Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

The bible says that it is commendable before God to endure grief with a great attitude... consider Joseph who was clearly abuse and mistreated by his brothers and Potiphar's wife... yet in all these he had a great attitude of forgiveness and humility and kindness... that at the right moment God vindicated Him and exalted Him... want to encourage you to keep hoping and trusting in God and to have a good attitude when you are going through any unfair situation... God loves you and would lift you up as you humble yourselves before Him... His timing supercedes all things...

Seeking Him

Psalm 10:14
But You have seen, for You observe trouble and grief, to repay it by Your hand. The helpless commits himself to You; You are the helper of the fatherless.

Psalm 27:4
One thing I have desired of the Lord, that will I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life; to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in His temple.

Psalm 27:8
When You said, "Seek My face," My heart said to You, "Your face, Lord I will seek."

Today what situation are you in? God has a word for you.... He wants you to bring your case to Him... What is the burden in your heart.... maybe you really need to slow down to hear Him once again... to seek Him in solitude.... today God has a Word for you.... He has a revelation each time for you....

Hebrews 11:6
But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

As you seek God... God wants to remind you that He is your rewarder.... He wants you to believe in His goodness...

1Peter 5:6-7
Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

Maybe we have to pause... and really humble ourselves and cast our care to Him and seek Him for directions and revelation..... There is no unsolvable problem... every trial has an answer and the answer is in Him.... He has revelation for you... for your life... in every situation...

Matthew 7:7-8
Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.

God wants us to seek Him and keep seeking.. becos.. the answer will come.... keep knocking... the door will open... keep asking... you will receive.... the answer.... keep trusting in Him... keep believing.... keep hoping... For God is not a man that He will lie... nor the son of man that He will repent...

Psalm 43:3
Oh, send out Your light and Your truth! Let them lead me; let them bring me to Your holy hill and to Your tabernacle.

Psalm 42:7-8
Deep calls unto deep at the noice of Your waterfalls; all Your waves and billows have gone over me. The Lord will command His lovingkindness in the daytime, and in the night His song shall be with me- a prayer to the God of my life.

God loves you.

Shepherd King, Servant and friend

Psalm 23:1-2
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters.

Bible says that as christians it is possible to be so close to God and His Word that we can be contended with life in every situation.... God wants us to trust Him

1Tim 6:6
Now godliness with contentment is great gain.

Godliness is our closeness to God.... we as christians can actually exercise ourselves unto godliness... takes discipline to study the Bible yet it is also a joy and delight... as we hunger and seek after God... He begins to let us taste and see that God is good....

Hebrew 13:5
Let your conduct be without covertousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself have said, "I will never leave you not forsake you. " So we may boldly say: "The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?"

Psalm 23:3-4
He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name sake. Yea, though I walk through valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

Our soul usually goes through turmoil and confusion in a trial.... Good new is God always restores our soul... He does it through the Word..sometimes through solitude.... sometimes by a good night sleep... He loves to restore our soul to heal us our emotion and confusion... when you are going through a trial.. take a promise of God and meditate it.....it will bring healing to your soul... As a Shepherd, God promises to lead us in His path.... we have constant leadership for our lives from Him.... there will be times we go through valley... valley so deep it seems like a bottomless pit... yet in this times... God is still with us... He is the friend who sticks closer then a brother..... whatever situation you are in... maybe it looks like a dead end...yet God is reminding you to walk it through... for you will come out the other side and God will lift you you and vindicate you.... hallelujah!

Psalm 23:5-6
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

God wants to encourage you today.... that in the presence of your trial... in the presence of your enemy...... that GOd has anointed your head with oil... and has given you a spirit of wisdom and sound mind that in every situation there is peace and protection.... and in the end... His goodness and His mercy will follow you all the days of your life.... stick close to Him.. He is your Shepherd King, servant and friend... comforter... healer... Lord and Master....

His sacrifice.... our comfort...

Galatians 3:9
So then those who are of faith are blessed with believing Abraham.

When we come into Christ we enter into a new covenant with God... and we move from a state of being curse to a state of being under God's umbrella of blessing....

Galatians 3:13-14
Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, "cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree") that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

We must continue in our journey in faith... believing what Jesus did and keep to our faith and do the good work that God want us to do... But today God wants to remind us that we are blessed... those who are of this faith are blessed with believing Abraham.... No matter what situation you are in... God wants you to know that you are blessed person in Christ... However God want us to know that though we are called to liberty we should use this liberty to love and serve one another

Galatians 4:28
Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are children of promise.

Blessings

Proverbs 10:22
The blessing of the Lord makes one rich, and He adds no sorrow with it.

God delights in the prosperity of His servants... today whatever financial situation you are in... if you are a believer of Christ... God wants you blessed... He send Jesus to die for your poverty... Jesus became poor that you through His poverty might become rich.... with this blessing we must have greater faith to know that God will bless our hard work... especially when we use our talents and abilities He gave us for the good work He prepared... He will bless and multiply the works of our hands.... God wants to encourage all believers to work hard and keep learn and keep trusting that He will bless the works of our hands...

Proverbs 12:11
He who tills his land will be satisfied with bread, but he who follows frivolity is devoid of understanding.

Rejoice in adverse circumstance

Isaiah 54:1
"Sing, O barren, You who have not borne! Break forth into singing, and cry aloud, you who have not labored with child! For more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married woman," says the Lord.

Maybe you are like the barren woman describe.... maybe there are things in your life that have not bear fruit... maybe you are in a situation that you feel desolated.... but today God wants to encourage you to rejoice in your circumstance and begin to worship and praise Him... Bible says in every situation give thanks... keep thanking God of what He did on the cross... that every negative there is a promise of a positive... maybe you are waiting for the promise... today God is saying "more will be the children of the desolate than the children of the married women." God is saying when your breakthrough comes... it will be so powerful and full God's grace and God's hand upon it.....

Isaiah 61:7
Instead of your shame you shall have double honor, and instead of confusion they shall rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they shall possess double; everlasting joy shall be theirs.

Romans 12:12
rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer.

Perfect Love

Proverbs 18:10
The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.

God is perfect love... and we may go through different seasons of life... some seasons are tougher some are spring time... however in tougher seasons we must always stick close to God... His presence and love will give us security and we will feel so safe being close to Him... never find your security in money, fame, people or even position... put your faith in Him.. .He is the perfect love that casts out all fears... and He loves you with lovingkindness....

1 John 4:18-19
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in l0ve. We love Him because He first loved us.

Hebrews 13:5-6
Let your conduct be without covertousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you. " So we may boldly say: "The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?"

Today I just want to remind you of His love and His gentleness and His kindness towards you that are new everyday... His lovingkindness is better than life... would you take time to worship Him and adore Him....

Direction and insights

Psalm 25:4-5
Show me Your ways, O Lord; Teach me Your paths. Lead me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; on You I wait all the day.

In a normal working day there will be many things craving our attention.... there may come in the form of advertisements, voices from people and friends, personal desires and goals, and other more sources... in a situation of many voices we must learn to eait on God to hear His voice... decisions are necessary to be made esp if want to be productive.... however God wants us to seek Him in all our ways.... and commit our ways to Him... it is better to pray about every choices we want to make especially impt choices.... The more important the choice the longer time you need to seek the face of God... the lesser impt issues can take lesser time....

Psalm 27:4
One thing I have desired of the Lord, that will I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life; to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in His temple.

When we seek God, God will always give us insights and directions and usually He leads in peace... God may stir us up from time to time... at times He may just lead in a still small voice or impressions... these are all insights that God gives to give us directions....

Psalm 27:11
Teach me Your way, O Lord, and lead me in a smooth path, because of my enemies.

Forgiveness

1 John 1:9
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

When we have sins in our lifes and we do not bring it to God in prayer it burden our soul...Sin has its negative consequence in our lifes.... God wants us to confess our sins before Him... as we do that He will bring out the negative in our life and put in the positive... and He will forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness... However once you ask for forgiveness and repented... stop allowing the devil to condemn you because His blood has cleanse you from all sins... Commit your situation to God and pray for direction.... God is always a God of restoration....

Hebrews 4:15-16
For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore comeboldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

God understands our pain and weakness and we must go to Him, in our failings or our success... God understands the weaknesses we carry.... this doesn't give a liscense to sin but God really cares for His people and loves His people... and He has send Jesus to die for us... we should always come in faith to God in any situation to obtain mercy and find grace in time of need.

2Cor 5:17-21
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold all things have become new. Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, that is God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ's behalf, be reconciled to God. For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

Heavy burdens vs God's burden

Luke 11:46
And He said, "Woe to you also, lawyers! For you load men with burdens hard to bear and you yourselves do not touch the burdens with one of your fingers.

God has burden for us... however God's burden is easy... His yoke is light... religion loves to impose unnecessary hard burden on people and its really a form of godliness that seeks to impress... however when Jesus was on earth... He was upset with the religious leaders... they put burdens and added many laws and wrong burdens on the people and that bothered Jesus... We must be careful in our love and zeal for God not to become zeolous for activities laid by men and not God... we must discern what does God want us to be involve in and not just comply to everything... there are many things God may want us to do but it must come from the Holy Spirit and the peace of God... so some example of God's burden that is easy...

Luke 11:42a
But woe to you Pharisees! For you tithe mint and rue and all manner of herbs, and pass by justice and the love of God.

God wants us to know that His burden is always connected to bring justice in people's life and teaching people about God's love and compassion....

Compassion is being released when we know how much God loves people and how much He cares for them.... lets not be caught up with actitives and man made burdens that we become a pharisee... let us rather be a person who has compassion knowing how much God loves us and has compassion for people... He is patient and kind... abounding in compassion and love for lost people.

Keep believing in His promises

Psalm 27:13
I would have lost heart, unless I had believed, that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.

Dr Ar Bernard taught us that faith is trusting in His promises.... and the essence of God's character is goodness... which means that God is a loving and good Father.... Sometimes in our life we hit a particular situation where we don't really have an answer.... however its during such moments we need to make a decision to trust and believe His promises.... David said if he did not choose to believe and trust he would have lost heart... and become so disappointed with life.... today I want to encourage all the readers... whatever situation you are in... do know that God has an answer... you can trust Him and depend on Him... in the still small voice you can hope in Him... He is able to bring you to your destiny and desires of your heart... Let the peace of God lead you and encourage you today....

Psalm 46:1
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

Psalm 31:14-15a
But as for me, I turst in You, O Lord; I say, "You are my God." My times are in Your hand

Psalm 34:8
Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man who trusts in Him!

Psalm 34:19
Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.

Psalam 37:7-8
Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him; do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass. Cease from anger, and forsake wrath; do not fret-it only causes harm.

Psalm 62:5
My soul, wait silently for God alone, for my expectation is from Him.

Psalm 64:3
Because Your loving kindness is better than life. My lips shall praise You.

God loves you my friend... don't give up.... keep believing and trusting and hoping in Him...

beauty for ashes

Isaiah 61:1
The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, because the Lord has anointed Me to preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives. And the opening of the prison to those who are bound;

Isaiah 61:3a
To console those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty for ashes.

Jesus died on the cross to take our ashes to give us His beauty. There is a promise that God makes all things beautiful in His time.. and Jesus paid that price for us.

Isaiah 53:2b
He has no form or comeliness; and when we see Him, there is no beauty that we should desire Him.

When Jesus went to the cross... hammered and beaten... He became so ugly and deformed so that you and I can live in hope of His promise that He makes all things beautiful in His time.... Thank God for that promise... thank God for what He done... Thank God for the gift of grace.. for the love He gave and poured out so unconditionally... for the price He paid.. that we can live in hope for His promise everyday...

Eccl 3:11a
He has made everything beautiful in its time.

Hope in contrary situation

Bible says that hope deferred makes the heart sick but when desire comes it is a tree of life....

Psalm 37:4
Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Our desires are before God and He knows them... God doesnt want us to lose hope in what we desire in our hearts... be it a business dream... a minsitry vision... a desire to be married... a desire for children... for promotion... for any little things... God is aware of our desires....and the good news is God wants to give you the desires of your heart... hallelujah...

Romans 5:5
Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

Today... whatever you are going thru... maybe you have a setback... a failure... a disappointment... God wants you to know... He understands... and He cares for your feelings...He is aware of your situation.... and He wants you to keep hoping in HIs promise... that He will give you the desires of your heart... He will deliver you at the right time...

Romans 4:20
He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform.

God wants to give you assurance today in your situation... that what He has promised... He will perform at His time... He makes all things beautiful in His time...

Diligence

Proverbs 14:23
In all labor there is profit, but idle chatter leads only to poverty.

Proverbs 12:27
The lazy man does not roast what he took in hunting, but diligence is man's precious possession.

Proverbs 13:4
The soul of a lazy man desires, and has nothing; but the soul of the diligent shall be made rich.

Proverbs 13:11
Wealth gained by dishonesty will diminished, but he who gathers by labor will increase.

Proverbs 14:4
Where no oxen are, the trough is clean; but much increase comes by the strength of an ox.

Proverbs 21:25
The desire of the lazy man kills him, for his hands refuse to labor.

Proverbs 24:33-34
A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest; so shall your poverty come like a prowler, and your need like an armed man.

Proverbs 28:20
A faithful man will abound with blessings, but he who hastens to be rich will not go unpunished.

Proverbs 26:13-16
The lazy man says, "There is a lion in the road! A fierce lion is in the streets!" As a door turns on its hinges, so does the lazy man on his bed. The lazy man buries his hand in the bowl; it wearies him to bring it back to his mouth. The lazy man is wiser in his own eyes than seven men who can answer sensibly.

Proverbs 22:29
Do you see a man who excels in his work? He will stand before kings; He will not stand before unknown men.

Proverbs 20:13
Do not love sleep, lest you come to poverty; open your eyes, and you will be satisfied with bread.

Proverbs 10:4-5
He who has a slack hand becomes poor, but the hand of the diligent makes rich. He who gathers in summer is a wise son; he who leeps in harvest is a son who causes shame.

Proverbs 6:9-11
How long will you slumber, o sluggard? when will you rise from your sleep? A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep- So shall your poverty come on you like a prowler, and your need like an armed man.

Proverbs 27:23-27
Be diligent to know the state of your flocks, and attend to your herds; for riches are not forever, nor does a crown endure to all generations. When the hay is removed, and the tender grass shows itself, and the herbs of the mountains are gathered in, the lambs will provide your clothing. And the goats the price of a field; You shall have enough goats' milk for your food, for the food of your household, and the nourishment of your maidservants.

Unity and friendship part 2

1Samuel 18:1b
the soul of Jonathan was knit to the soul of David, and Jonathan loved him as his own soul.

1Samuel 18:3
Then Jonathan and David made a covenant, because he loved him as his own soul. And Jonathan took off the robe that was on him and gave it to David, with his armor, even to his sword and his bow and his belt.

God has friends for us..... Each one of us will always have friends like Jonathan that God prepared.... Some keys to godly unity and friendship.

1. Chemistry and delight is present.

1Samuel 19:1
Now Saul spoke to Jonathan his son and toi all his servants, that they should kill David; but Jonathan, Saul's son, delighted greatly in David.

Many times in relationship... chemistry and delight is really God ordained.... many have called it a divine connection... where God gives the special chemistry between friends.. where they just enjoy moments to spend together even when there is hardly any important topics...

2. We must protect and speak up for our friends.

1Samuel 19:4
Thus Jonathan spoke well of David to Saul his father, and said to hm, " Let not the king sin against his servant, against David, because he has not sinned against you, and because his works have been very good toward you.

We must learn to speak up for people we love... especially when they are going through ridicle and insult... we must protect them and stand in the gap for them.

3. We must try to fulfill the desires of our friend's heart

1Samuel 20:4
So Jonathan said to David, "Whatever you yourself desire, I will do it for you."

Going the extra mile for our true friend is important in friendships...

4. We must make sure there is a same commitment from that true friend.

1Samuel 20:17
Now Jonathan again caused David to vow, because he loved him; for he loved him as he loved his own soul.

We need to ensure the friend would have the same commitment towards us that we have towards them... for it is commitment that counts at the end... after all the chemistry... it is commitment...

5. We must be there for our true friends in their lowest times.

1Samuel 23:16-18
Then Jonathan, Saul's son arose and went to David in the woods and strengthened his hand in God. And he said to him, "Do not fear, for the hand of Saul my father shall not find you. You shall be king over Israel, and I shall be next to you. Even my father Saul knows that." So the two of them made a covenant before the Lord. And David stayed in the woods, and Jonathan went to his own house.

6. We must stay loyal to our true friends and appreciate them and remember what they did for us.

2Samuel 1:26
I am distressed for you, my brother Jonathan; You have been very pleasant to me; Your love to me was wonderful, surpassing the love of women.

2Samuel 9:1
Now David said, "Is there still anyone who is left of the house of Saul, that I may show him kindness for Jonathan's sake?"

2Samuel 9:3-4
Then the king said: "Is there not still someone of the house of Saul, to whom I may show the kindness of God?" And Ziba said to the king, "There is still a son of Jonathan who is lame in his feet." SO the kind said to him, "Where is he?"

2Samuel 9:6-7
Now when Mephibosheth the son of Jonathan, the son of Saul, had prostrated himself. Then David said, "Mephibosheth?" And he answered, "Here is your servant!" So David said to him, "Do not fear, for I will surely show you kindness for Jonathan your father's sake, and will restore to you all the land of Saul your grandfather; and you shall eat bread at my table continually."

2Samuel 9:11b
"As for Mephibosheth," said the king, "he shall eat at my table like one of the king's son.

2Samuel 9:13
So Mephibosheth dwelt in Jerusalem, for he ate continually at the king's table. And he was lame in both his feet.

So my friends... lets keep our loyalty to those who are true friends to us.

Amen

Unity and friendship part 1

Psalm 133:1-3
Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious oil upon the head, running down the beard, the beard of Aaron, runnign down on the edge of his garments. It is like the dew of Hermon, descending upon the mountains of Zion; for there the Lord commanded the blessing - life forevermore.

God loves unity and friendship... especially true friendships.... to have friends we must learn to be a friend... few keys for unity and friendship...

1. Be kindhearted to your brothers and sisters in Christ.

1Peter 3:8
Finally, all of you be of one mind, having compassion for one another; love as brothers, be tenderhearted; be courteous; not returning evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary blessing, knowing that you were called to theis, that you may inherit a blessing.

We have to be kind and sweet to our brothers and sisters.... appreciate and love them...

2. Appreciate and thank God for their talents and uniqueness.

1Cor 12:4
There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.

1Cor 12:18
But now God has set the members, each one of them in the body as He pleased.

3. Being there for them in the difficult times of their life.

Proverbs 17:17
A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.

Proverbs 18:24
A man who has friends must himself be friendly, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.

Proverbs 27:9
Ointment and perfume delight the heart, and the sweetness of a man's friend gives delight by hearty counsel.

Proverbs 12:26
The righteous should choose his friends carefully, for the way of the wicked leads them astray.

4. Blessings of God and anointing for success in God will be present with those friendships.

Eccl 4:9-10
Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, one will lift up his companion, but woe to him who is alone when he falls, for he has no one to help him up. Again, if two lie down together, they will keep warm; but how can one be warm alone? Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him. And a threefold cord is not quickly broken.

Psalm 133:3b
For there (unity and friendship) the Lord commanded the blessing- life forevermore.

Amen

The art of prayer

Matthew 11:28-30
"Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light."

Prayer is not suppose to be hard and difficult... the yoke is easy the burden is light.... prayer may not even need to be loud in most times...

Matthew 6:5-10
And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathens do. For they think they will be heard for their many words. Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him. In this manner, therefore pray: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Prayer is easy... there is a yoke of prayer that is easy.... in many cases prayer can be your thoughts turning to God... communing to Him in silence...ie "Father, help me...help me...in this situation..." turning your thoughts to Him and giving your cares are all considered prayer to God....

1 Peter 5:7
casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

We don't have to talk differently to God... its like a friendly moment with a friend... Bible says... God knows all things... so whatever we commune with Him.. He already knows... but He wants us to pray for His Will to be done in every situation... cast our cares then pray for His Will be done and maintain a submissive attitude to His leading.... Bible talks about the secret chamber... the secret place... this is where we make love to our spouse... God wants us to go to His secret chamber and make love to God... its a love relationship... that is the art of prayer... Prayer is fun and it is not hard to pray... its talk to a friend who watches over you and knows the number of hair you have on your head... its communication in our hearts and mind toward a God who loves us...

Let God appoint and flow with Him

Psalm 31:14-15b
But as for me, I trust in You, O Lord; I say, "You are my God." My times are in Your hands.

God has a special role for you in the body of Christ... sometimes we tend to not understand when we feel lost and left behind in a crowd and when everyone seems to be progressing and here we are lost and confuse... however God wants to encourage us by telling us that He does the appointing and He knows the perfect moment to use us...

Ephesians 4:11-12
And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equiping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.

I just want to encourage you that it is God who appoints your role and your existence and validated your ministry... maybe now people may not understand or you are confuse how you should fight for your place... God wants to assure you that it is He who appoints and at the right time He will provide the way... if God appoints... then I assure you people will know it.... but if we self-appoint we will end up more in a state of unrest and frustration...

Jeremiah 1:5
Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations."

So in conclusion, stay in faith and in the rest of God... lean back and follow the peace that surpasses all understanding....do the little things that God's peace leads you.... God always come true at the right moment:)

Rejoice

Acts 15:8-11
So God, who knows the heart, acknowledged them by giving them the Holy Spirit, just as He did to us, and made no distinction between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith. Now therefore, who do you test God by putting a yoke on the neck of the disciples which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear? But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved in the same manner as they.

Religion has a way to bind people and control the masses... Religion steals the joy in our lifes.. so our lifes don't radiate righteousness, peace and joy... the disciples lost their joy cos of the yoke that the religious leaders tried to put on them.... the letter kills but the Spirit gives life... Paul was the defender of faith along with other apostles rose up against the religious leaders and told them that God is not a God that binds... but liberates and restores... and heals... and leads...

Acts 15:24
Since we have heard that some who went out from us have troubled you with words, unsettling your souls, saying, "You must be circumcised and keep the law"- to whom we gave no such commandment-

God doesn't lead us by troubling our soul with condemnations or with bondage of slavery.. God leads with His peace...

Acts 15:28-29
For it seemed good to the Holy Spirit, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things: that you abstain from things offered to idols, from blood, from things strangled, and from sexual immorality. If you keep yourselves from these, you will do well.

Acrs 15:31
When they had read ut, they rejoiced over its encouragement.

God wants to set you free from legalism and bondage of condemnation and slavery and bring you back to righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

Empowered by the Spirit

Romans 6:6
knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin.

Romans 6:14
For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.

Romans 6:17-18
But God be thanked that though you were slaves of sin, yet you obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine to which you were delivered. And having been set free from sin, you became slaves of righteousness.

Romans 8:8-9
So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God. But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His.

As we read the above scripture.... we can identify what Jesus has done for us... He broke the power of sin on the cross... that the body of sin may be done away with... meaning the power of sin is broken... over a believers life... we move from a slave to sin (no power to sin) to a slave of righteousness (power of sin broken over our lifes).... now because we are empowered by the Spirit who lives in us... we can live the Spirit-led life... a life full of righteousness, peace and joy... a life of hope and victory... a life with a balanced pace and purpose...

Romans 8:11
But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.

Now because power of sin is broken over us... we can choose the Spirit-led life and reckon ourselves dead to sin and not depend on our own strength but the leading of the Holy Spirit who gives life and life abundantly... thats why christianity is not a set of rules and regimes that steals our joy and life.... thats why now we can reckon ourselves that dead to sin because of what Jesus did.. the power of sin is broken over our lifes... its much easier to live the holy life now because of what Jesus did to break the power of sin and by depending on the Holy Spirit.... we are not to live holy by a set of rules and systems....

Romans 6:4
Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ raised from the dead by glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. (abundant life of God)

Now because of the newness of life... and the Holy Spirit in us and what Jesus did to break the power of sin... it is easier to live the holy life in respect for God... thats why the yoke is easy the burden is light... christianity is suppose to be living in the great and awesome promise of God..

Romans 6:10-14
For the death that He died, He died to sin once for all; but the life that He lives, He lives to God. Likewise you also reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord. Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey in its lust. And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God. For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.

Confidence

Galatians 3:13-14
Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us ( for it is writtien, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree") that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus , that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

Confidence is very important in our daily life.... Scripture says we need to walk by faith each day which is walking in confidence.... one way to walk in confidence is walk through life knowing that we are blessed because of Jesus... and we can be led by the Holy Spirit to walk in the fullness of the Holy Spirit.... We are blessed in our comingin, blessed in our going out, bless in our emotion, our health, family, we are favored by GOd, we are above and not beneath, we go over and not under... Hallelujah....Let us therefore be led by the Holy Spirit...

2 Corinthians 10:17
But "he who glories, let him glory in the Lord." For not he who commends himself is approved, but whom the Lord commends.

Jeremiah 9:23-24
Thus says the Lord: "Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom. Let not the mighty man glory in his might, nor let the rich man glory in his riches; but let him who glories glory in this, that he understands and knows Me, that I am the Lord, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth. For in there I delight," says the Lord.
