Acts 13:32-33
And we declare unto you glad tidings, how that the promise which was made unto the fathers, God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee.
Glad tidings means good news..... what is the good news? wat is the glad tidings of Christmas? well its simply unto us a Saviour is born and this Saviour died on the cross for the sins of the world and God raised this Saviour up.... that by believing in this risen Saviour... we come into eternal life... we enter into a zone that we do not have to be punished for our sins... becos another person has been punished for all our sins..... thru Him we have forgiveness and the power to live an abundant life thru His grace.......
Romans 10:15
And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
Gospel of peace... wow... means the good news of Jesus coming to save us brings peace....... as you tell others the good news or the glad tidings.... that a Saviour has paid for their sins.... it brings peace.... of course provided they believe the good news.....
Acts 13:38-39
Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins: And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.
You are justified becos of Jesus.... thats good news:) stay in faith...
