from slave to son...

Galatians 4:7
Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of GOd through Christ.

A slave means no inheritance... A son means full of God's blessing and inheritance... the blessing of God comes becos we come to Jesus and step out from being under law to under grace... from condemnation and judgment to no condemnation and blessings... all becos of faith in Jesus Christ... thats really good news....

Galatians 4:4-5
But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive adoption as sons.

Under law means being a slave... and a slave has no rights... a slave does not have inheritance... no promise... a slave works for wages... thank God you are sons... becos of believing in Jesus.. .and sons have inheritance and blessings from God... based on faith in Jesus Christ...

Its possible to go back to be a slave after being a son... thats to go back to legalism... to rules and regimentations that God doesnt require... God wants our christian life to be a life walking by faith... obeying in faith... we must not go back to rules and regulations .... but to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit.

Galatians 5:4
You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace.

The way to stay under God's grace is the life of believing, the life of faith... the life following the Holy Spirit....

Galatians 5:1
Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.
